Bridget joined Hunters Bar in May 2018 from a mixed practice in the Peak District. She has worked in veterinary practice for the last 25 years with long experience as practice manager and business manager. Bridget is loving the new challenges a city practice brings. In her spare time she enjoys cooking, reading and spending as much time as possible travelling to new destinations and learning about the world.
Jay has been a receptionist at Hunters Bar since 2015. She lives in her miniature zoo with her beautiful teacup Chihuahuas Tequila and Phoenix her Pomchi Skye, her budgie Kiwi and her two cats Pagan and Raven. She has had a love of all animals since being very young and wanted to be a cat when she grew up. Since that wasn’t possible she decided she would work with cats, dogs and all manner of animals instead.
Jess has been part of the team here at Hunters Bar since October 2014. She studied animal behaviour and welfare at Plymouth University for three years prior to joining. She loves her job as there is something new every day and she particularly enjoys handling insurance claims. She has a passion for animals, having three cats named Mitchell, Beau and Rupert and a Malamute cross called Toby. In her spare time Jess likes to explore new places with Toby and spend time with loved ones.
Eleanore has been part of the practice since August 2017. She has a love for dogs so you will be sure to find her having a sneaky puppy cuddle in reception. Eleanore has two rescue dogs, a Greyhound/Whippet cross called Willow and a Whippet/Staffy cross called Howard. Despite her old age Willow is just as spritely as Howard so Eleanore enjoys walking them through the Peaks.
