Karen has worked for Hunters Bar Vets since 2001, starting as a receptionist and then taking the role of Practice Manager. Karen’s interests are of course animals - she has taken in strays herself and found homes for other animals that are homeless. Also being quite creative, she crafts items to raffle to enable the funds to go to a chosen charity e.g. Greyhound Trust and Support Dogs.
Jay has worked at Hunters Bar for almost two years and loves getting to know the customers and their pets. She has a love for all animals from reptiles to birds and everything in between.
Jay has a beautiful teacup Chihuahua called Tequila, two cats, a Leopard Gecko and two Giant African land snails. Outside of work Jay loves going to Whitby and watching movies curled up with Tequila.

She has a passion for animals, and has her own little collection at home of three cats and a dog.
