After growing up in Northern Ireland, Sinead moved to England to study at the University of Liverpool. After graduation, she worked for a practice in Halifax, and then moved to a practice in Chesterfield. Sinead joined the Hunters Bar team in 2017. Sinead adores all aspects of her job, especially meeting new clients and patients, and she loves how varied her days can be.
Sinead lives with her partner and his two spaniels; Bo and Finn. She loves being outdoors and likes walking and camping in all weathers. She also enjoys climbing, aerial silks and aerial hoop.
Katie Blackburn BVSc BSc MRCVS

She worked in two practices in North and East Yorkshire before coming home to Sheffield in 2014 to the practice where she had been inspired to study vet science (by our very own Anita Fox!). Katie is very interested in medical cases and is currently studying towards her certificate in advanced veterinary practice. When not at work she spends her time with her young daughter, two Whippets, Womble and Dobby and her two Maine Coon cats, Roger and Colin.
Anita Fox BVSc MRCVS
After graduating from Liverpool University Anita worked in small animal practice in Leeds for seven years and joined the Hunters Bar team in 1988. She enjoys all aspects of internal medicine and loves getting to know the pets and their families.
Anita lives locally with her family and two very lively but lovable Border Terriers, Bramble and Willow. Her hobbies are knitting, baking, reading, watching football and long walks with her dogs.
Caroline Munroe BVetMed MRCVS
Caroline has been working at the Hunters Bar since 2016. She graduated in 1993 from the Royal Veterinary College, London and has worked for over twenty years in small animal practice - the first ten years or so in the south of the UK including some time travelling overseas and some veterinary work in New Zealand. In 2005 she moved up to Sheffield where she and her vet husband ran their own veterinary practice for six years. She has a three year old daughter and a cat called Blackie and is currently working part-time. Her veterinary interests are internal medicine, especially feline medicine, and teaching/coaching. Away from work she loves being outdoors, climbing, snowboarding and hiking.
Richard Patton BVSc BSc MRCVS

Jessica Stirrups BA VetMB MRCVS
Jess graduated from Cambridge Vet School in July 2013 and spent a couple of months working in Gloucester before making the move up north to join us in September 2013. She has a love of all things furry though isn’t scared by friends of a feathered nature – in her spare time she volunteers for the British Trust for Ornithology working as a trainee bird ringer – fitting small metal ID rings to wild birds to help track population trends and migration patterns. When not out helping with this she can often be found up, or indeed under, various hills and mountains and she also has a keen interest in caving, climbing and mountaineering, and is an active member of the local Cave Rescue team.
